Scrappy Wednesday

The noodles for my 'Stone Soup' challenge have been sewn as slanty strattas and waiting for the next step.

The few tidbits left from making the strattas are going to get used up.  I don't plan on leaving anything behind.

Of course my buddy, Moe, was right back into the mix of helping with this project.  It always amazes me how they get attached to a certain project.  He is right up on that table every time I pull it out.

It is still snowing, bitter cold and more to come.  A good day to keep sewing.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

It's nice to have bright scraps to play with when it's nasty and cold outside. It always makes me think of summer. Keep you and the kitties warm. Happy stitching.

Oh Sharon, this is a souper idea lol--I need to use up the rest of my purples--they will become the border=tablecloth perhaps...looking forward to seeing how you put these together...hugs, Julierose

Sometimes you wonder what's going on in a pet's mind. I once had a cat attracted to a particular hot pink yarn -- never touched my knitting except that one project!

That project sets off Moe’s furs beautifully. He just likes it as a good background for his pictures.

keep on with the scraps, and stay inside maybe. We have seen quite a lot of coverage about the Polar Vortex, and it looks like something so severe, I truly cannot imagine how it is in real life. -40C or -40F, on my chart that is as low as it gets, and this morning I heard with wind chill it will be even lower.Moe, you have the right plan, stay comfy and warm.
