Scrappy Wednesday

Red is January's RSC19 color, so I pulled the reds from that yellow monster.  Yes, that small pile is all the reds I could find in that over stuffed tummy.  But I am making the fun chandelier bead blocks a bit smaller than Debbie's so I don't need anything large.   2.5" center bead and 1.5" corners with the adjustments for the white braces.  I plan to make one with a light background and one with the black background.  The black background will have a color large bead and the smaller corner beads will be w/w's.  I will make 10 blocks of each - should I need more later in the year, I can certainly quickly work more up.

I pulled my red shoe box totes which is a slim mess.  Some items mixed went into the appropriate storage and smaller bits were chopped down into the barrel system.

A few FQ size nice and neat now with pieces for strings stacked.  I had made a red quilt late into 2018. so I will just be happy that I have a clean plate right now.

My first finish of the year!!  This is all I can show as this is my piece for the Black & White Hop.  So you will have to wait until my date - January 21st.

A good start to the New Year,
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Those chandelier blocks are lovely, and the reds, I have a few,but when I need a lot for a project, the box is sadly lacking.

You’re off to a good start! I’m making two rainbow quilts this year to double my pleasure and my scrap usage.
