I've been a little MIA which happens when I get into quilting mode. Also, some secret sewing is happening that can't be revealed for another month. Some time has been spent tending to preserving gifted vegies, caring for Mom, and some ME time.
This took several years to make as I collected bits of fabric in specific colors - lots of little bins filled over time. When there was enough for a row, it was stitch and more fabric collected - row by row it grew. Now it is ready to be quilted.
Stay Safe and Healthy,
Wow!! That quilt is a work of art Sharon, just beautiful!

Completely amazing. Just beautiful.
Wow! Fantastic job recreating that old design. It is wonderful.
Amazing work. Will be an heirloom.
Oh my gosh, what a gorgeous quilt! When I saw that chart, it looked like cross-stitch, and the quilt kind of looks like that too. I’ve never seen a chart like that for making a quilt. Interesting and beautiful. Looking forward to seeing how you finish it off.
Beautiful quilt. I love that a cross stitch piece could become a quilt. Gives me great ideas. Thanks for showing this.
Love the top that you have together. It's fun to have a bit of a story to go along with a quilt. It will be beautiful when it's finished. I'm glad your guild is still able to meet. Ours hasn't met since February other than on our Facebook group.
I am speechless .. that is beautiful!! A cross-stitched pattern? Now a quilt? Gorgeous and ... whoops forgot I was speechless. Thank you for sharing this beauty and the story!

A few years ago, while visiting my daughter in Boston, we roamed through the Fine Arts Museum (I think that was the one). There was a tile floor from Italy (possibly the Tuscany region) that had been transported and was being restored. The intricate borders, colors, and small squares of your quilt remind me of that beautiful floor. I can definitely see how it took years to produce. It's absolutely stunning.
That is an amazing design to reproduce... great job! We need to see more photos of it!
Looks like needlepoint! Lovely
Oh Sharon... it's gOrgeOus...you should be very proud of yourself.
