Scrappy Wednesday

I finished up the flimsy of the R/W/B scrappy donation.  This will be sent on to someone for probably a need to add another border or two to up size for QOV.

Today I want to do something with this tote full of 'stuff'.  It held parts made and in progress pieces for Bonnie Hunter's last mystery which was interrupted with many squirrels.  And I started stuffing other things into it.  Now it is time to do something with all of these little jewels.

If it ever stops raining, I hope to get some outside photos of our apples, flowers, and the mini garden mixed in the flower bed (which has taken over).  Wish we could share all our East Coast rains with our West Coast friends.

Sewingly Yours,

  1. I do like your flimsy finish a lot! the colors are lovely.
i have bags of "parts" and pieces and chunks trying to use them in my strip quilting for the "Ojo di Dios" blocks i am making right now. They really use up a lot of "stuff" that would otherwise be almost unusable...
    Hugs, Julierose

  2. As a QOVer, I thank you for your work. Looks great and will be gratefully accepted.

  3. A lot of choices with the scraps there, and another border will frame the quilt so nicely.

  4. Love your quilt and playing in the scraps sounds like fun. Another beautiful quilt will be made soon.

  5. Whats not to love about a churn dash quilt ? Can't wait to see what you do with your box of pretty stuff, also pics of your mini garden.

  6. I like the setting for your churn dash blocks. You did move along with that project. Hope you see some sun this weekend. We've not had as much rain as you have, but more then we typically get in the summer. I'd gladly share with the West Coast too, they could certainly use it!

  7. Churn dash blocks are just so versatile aren't they... xox
