Whoop Whoop Friday 7/8/16
I know, I filled that quilt rack again. BUT this is worth whooping about. Three baby quilts with their batting and backing ready for the weekend quilting marathon. All three will be done with the walking foot in a grid design - it goes pretty fast for me. And the bindings are all ready for them, too - if I get that far.
One more corner added to the rail/colorwash project. This is going pretty fast now. Although it does have three borders to add, and you know how I just love to do borders.
And Moe is holding down my Christmas tote - pulled and ready for some fun projects to be shared during the 12 Day of Christmas Blog Hop with Sarah. She has a list of all the participants on her sidebar if you would like to pre-visit them. And Moe loves that I made him a Tempor-pedic bed. Yeah, my folded star project with the foam - no I do not like working with this product. Maybe I'll use the rest of the foam in a bag, but still not sure I will like the result. ** linking up with Feline Friday **
See who else is whooping it up
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

aw Moe looks so comfy on his new tempor pedic bed. LOL and you go girl. Three quilts done? man you are good!
I've seen one of those wreaths made sans foam - it looked good but not sure it would hold up to Moe naps. LOL. Love the colorwash. Amazing what colors go together in a fantastic project like that. Better you on all those borders than me...
The rail/colorwash quilt is coming along beautifully. Congrats on getting so much done and ready to quilt.
You deserve a "whoop whoop" for finishing three quilts! Moe looks pretty comfy. :O)
I love that colorwash quilt. And Moe looks quite content!
Sounds like you are going to have a very productive weekend. Love the colorwash.
Good job Sharon! Sounds like you have been working in a sweat shop! LOL
Question, I bought the folded star pattern and was wondering if Soft & Stable (suggested for tote bags) might work since I have a package of that.
Having made the pattern what do you think?
What were your issues with the foam?
I am trying to downsize the stash and really don't want to buy more stuff if I have something in the house that would work.
I was also thinking of using the extra heavy duty interfacing I have left over from making mug rugs for a swap. Hmmm, may just have to try it and see what the results are.
Have a great day!
