Monday Making

I want to start working on the next BOM Challenge block.  I have the bias vine ready for some hand stitching.  This shouldn't take long to do so I have another project to work on.

All of the units are ready for the last 6 purple Anvil blocks.    I might start adding the sashing, too.

I am hoping that it is not too icy today so I can get out for some grocery shopping.  Seriously - we had people who could not get up our lane yesterday because it was a sheet of ice.  I can make do, but I despirately need to get out of the house!

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

I like your anvil blocks, they'll make a lovely quilt. I hope your ice is gone today.

Well, I hope you’re able to get out of the house. Ice is the worst, and we get more ice than snow in Portland. Hate it. Here in Texas, we’re at 32 degrees this morning, so warmer than the 18 degrees we had yesterday.

Do you wear Yaktraxs? Or similar that stretch and clip on over boots or shoes? Spikes that have a great grip on ice.Running out of food would be bad, but if the fabric was at rock bottom, that would definitely mean a trip to the fabric shop, no matter what the ice level was!!!

Hope you were able to get out to the grocery store. Ice is no fun at all. We had freezing drizzle over the weekend. It's starting to feel like winter will never end. At least you have fabric to play with.

Hope you're able to get out! We had it Sunday with church cancelled and just stayed home and sewed. Not a bad way to spend a day !

Hope you were able to get some groceries and get out for a while...such a contrast to here where we are having hot weather. Your BOM challenge looks interesting.
