Feline Friday 11/20/15

Moe has decided to irk Bella by napping on her favorite blankie, but he doesn't blend into it like she does.

While he napped I pulled my fabrics for the 'Shuffle' sampler quilt along.  I like samplers, but I hate making a block or two at a time even if these do come out two blocks every Friday.

So I plan to work them every other week - so I have 4 blocks to play with at one sitting.  I can pull four different fabrics (layer cakes and scraps) and make four blocks.

And Bella - she decided to take out her ire with Moe on me and nested into my little box of little blocks so I couldn't get to them.

How do you get rid of two furkids in twerkie moods?  Pull out the vacuum!  They scattered to higher ground and I got to play in my little box.  I have 200 of these so far.  Where will I go with them?  I have no idea, but they are fun.

I have no desire to start anything new and/or big, so little things here and there are good play time.  I've been using more energy (I still have this stinkin' virus) to clean and purge.  You know - you pull out one thing and clean that area, which leads to pulling another thing and you have to clean that before you put things back - after all that, you might just as well have moved everything out of the room and done a thorough clean and THEN but things back!

Now the spare bedroom needs a perk up incase it's needed - hope you have a lovely weekend.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Typical furkids - stealing each others fav napping spots. Mine race for the "lamb" lined cat bed all the time! Love those little blocks - are u thinking big quilt?

Love your four patch in a square. I have a box of them as well. Their turn will come in the future. Cats mine are the same. Always where YOU ARE lol!

It is always fun to see what your furries are up too Sharon! Glad you are feeling better and I like the fabrics you have chosen for your sampler blocks.

Bella in the box made me laugh, she doesn't even look comfortable. Pulling out the vacuum brings both of the furkids running, one likes to attack it and the other stands right in front of me hoping I'll vacuum him, it takes me twice as long with all of the help I get.

Those furbabies do like their comforts! It's a good thing the vacuum helps. Those little blocks are so cute.

I've been printing the Moda blocks out too, but had no color inspiration til I saw yours! They remind me of a lovely little collection of Christmas prints in my stash that, until now, had no assigned purpose! Love the kitties! We've just been adopted by a big orange Tom...he was gone for a bit yesterday and I found myself getting a little anxious. With a barn and other cats, they come and go, but there is something special about this big guy with his squeaky high pitched meow...I've named him Jack, short for Jack O' Lantern.
...And as always, here I sit with a dachshund back rest and a dachshund footrest.
Fur Family to be Thankful for.

I had to laugh at the image of you pulling out the vacuum and Moe and Bella scampering for safer ground!! Your blocks are wonderful!!! Worth the effort of pulling out that vacuum! ;)

Cute, cuter, cutest ~!!! Vacuuming sure sends them packing, doesn't it ?~! Works with teens too if you ask them to do the pushing of the machine. Scatters them to the four winds!

I'm sewing too today, making potholder backings out of strips. Tons of fun picking with no real end game since they are all scrappy to begin with.

Happy Halloween

Hope you've been able to get rid of that nasty virus. We're doing the deep cleaning this week and we're doing a lot of clean out that spot so we can put stuff from the other spot into it. Do you ever wonder where all the stuff comes from?

I agree. Bella doesn't look comfortable. She must think she is getting back at you and Moe. Hope you are well soon, dear.
The sampler blocks look like fun.

I'm sorry that the nasty virus has been hanging around so long. I hope that by now it has been kicked to the curb.

My cat always laid right in the middle of everything I did but the vacuum didn't scare him. In fact he'd roll over and expect you to run the wand over his tummy and back. LOL help with some of the shedding.
