Let's Book It - Oct 2015

This was my project for the month of October - a print out saved so long ago.  It is really hard to photo, but here is the Free download for this pattern.

These were little blocks and used a few of my small bits and pieces up.

I made less blocks for a smaller piece.  The paisley border was a cut off from another project and the binding was left over from those big quilts.  Even the batt was pieced cut-off and the back trimming from a quilt back.

I put corner hang tabs on the back, but this could also be used as a table topper.  Finished size:  15" square

This months pin and charm

Cute, the pieces with the long triangles really adds something to it. I'm still amazed at such little pieces and paper piecing, I was worried about your sanity, LOL.

This is sooooo cute. Only 15" square! I think you should hang it on the wall.

Love the colors on your hexie charm - I don't have that one yet...yet is the operative term :) I haven't done paper piecing in eons but I really like the curved effect achieved by your pattern thanks to the 2 fabrics used in the penultimate pieces on the corners. Fantastic!

Oh! Those *are* tiny strings blocks. It's such a pretty mini quilt. (hey, I have something for you, but I've misplaced the envelope I was saving with your address on it - can I get your snail mail addy from you in email?)
