May For Me - Day 9

Unfortunately the weather and my body just did not see eye-to-eye and my ME time was canceled out with 'couch' time. But I would love to share a couple of blogs - their May For Me certainly needs to be shared.

Judy of Shadetree Quilting had a moving post on 'Life Lessons - and with her permission, I am sharing with you. Please be sure to read thru the whole thing, so fitting not only for our May, but to treasure always.

Sheila of Sew Cook & Travel has shared some very interesting twists on the Jelly Roll Race quilt HERE and HERE; as well as a nice tutorial on painter's tape HERE

BINGO CALL WORDS

B - TRACTOR
B - SUPERMAN
I - FISH
I - OVALS

Remember we all have different lists and this week we call 10 items each, so check in with Marcia, Tonya, and Snoodles for their words as well as what they may share for May For Me.

If you get a BINGO contact Tonya at Hillbilly Handiworks.

Surely hope you will be up and about soon - some days you just really do need to take care of yourself. Thanks for the shout out. Judy C

Thanks for sharing, and I like your closing thought! Sometimes couch time is the perfect "me" time, I hope you're feeling chipper today!

I hope you are feeling better soon Sharon! Loved the links - thanks for sharing them! Only 2 buttons so far on my bingo card. My items are called but on different letters. Gets my hopes up and then dashed! It's fun though, looking each day to see what is called :*)

Some days the body just doesn't agree with the mind and those are days we need to rest. Take care!

Sorry to hear that you were on the couch! Most people would love to be on a couch, but we quilters know that it is precious time taken away from our quilting! hope you're on the mend!

The weather has been "interesting" lately but at least the grass and plants like it. I hope you are feeling better quickly.

Sharon, I think several of us quilting ladies are battling bugs, allergies or simple fatigue. I hope you get up and going soon but not too soon. Make sure you take care of yourself.
Blessings

I know I don't need to comment on every post, and you certainly don't need to reply to all of them, but I do want to thank you for that jelly roll link. While I like the idea of the race quilt, I've not been sold on it. Well, that may be because I've been hesitant to let go of my one and only jelly roll. Need to find the perfect quilt for it :) I am going to go look at that link now...

Surely "couch time" counts as "me" time too? Sorry you weren't feeling brilliant, hope things are better today?
