May For Me - Day 4

I enjoyed ME time with my SIL on Thursday. Happy to have gotten the perfect backing and batt and then to come home and my long armer was here, so I could hand that quilt right over - couldn't plan that any better. I treated my self to some flowers - yes, fake but then I don't have to worry about bugs and ants that come with those outdoor peonies and they last longer. And some cute little wash tubs. Wish they had a white - can you see these holding a project in waiting - and future prop for that up-coming blog hop.

BINGO CALL WORDS

G - CROCODILE
O - RAINBOW
G - MESH
G - CANDYCORN (NOT CANDY OR CORN)
G - POT OF GOLD OR GOLD

Remember we all have different lists, so check in with Marcia, Tonya, and Snoodles for their words as well as what they may share for May For Me.

That means 80 items have been called this week.
If you get a BINGO contact Tonya at Hillbilly Handiworks.

CLOSING THOUGHT

I am adding a May For Me item to my list that was shared last year by Heather. UN-PLUG one day a week. Yes, you can live without that computer on or that TV. Now I spent part of Thursday un-plugged, and we are not calling Bingo Words over the weekend. So I will un-plug for a while on Saturday as I am visiting my daughter and grandies - I will be back for pulling the winners of this week's Birthday Celebration. And Sunday - I'm dedicating this day to a special project until finished. Can you take the un-plugged challenge?

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Love your purchases and I'm glad you had a good time. I'll be unplugged for three days starting Sunday as I will be on a short anniversary trip with the Mr. It's kind of May for Me, with anniversary and Mother's Day but the Mr. gets a May for Me too! LOL!

I love peonies! And these look so real!. Mine, outside, are just peeking through the ground, but they are fabulous when they are in bloom!

Love your little tubs! They will be perfect for just about everything!
Fake flowers are great too... as I have my herbs and veggies on my table and I had to move them (little flies) ... waiting for warmer weather outside before I move them out. They love the sunshine and warmth of my windows - can't move them yet!
Unplugged is a great idea. I am unplugged during the day everyday after breakfast.. sometimes I check at lunch .. but night time is my plugged in time!
I played a mellow song today and I am moving slow to get to quilting today! That's OK it's Minutes for me on Friday morning!

Enjoy your weekend!

I seem to be my computer is more off than ever these days. Life is just so busy anymore, but I am certainly NOT complaining.

Love the new tubs!! I'm thinking of unplugging for a couple of weeks - the computer seems to rule my life. Have a wonderful weekend and visit with your daughter and grandies!!

Have fun with your family and unplugging!

I don't want to completely unplug until I get all those little words passed out. I'd rather have it behind me and done. But on the other hand, I do try to unplug on Sundays so we will see how it goes.

Love your little tubs! Sounds like you had a nice ME time!

Love the tubs - so bright and a great size, too. I will definitely join you in being "unplugged"....I'll get some posts up in advance and then off I go!

I'm glad you had a fun day, out and about. Your peonies are pretty! We inherited some in the "garden" and they typically bloom by Mother's Day, though I haven't seen the first inclination of a blossom yet! :)

Love your flowers and tubs. White would have been nice but red and blue are so summery.
I can't remember the last time I was unplugged. That's really sad.I will have to make a conscious effort to set aside some unplugged time.

Those are cute little containers...perfect for a project. I should try the "unplug" challenge...although since I work on the computer as well, it is hard to draw the line between professional time and hobby time (I write and distribute the weekly online newsletter for a local quilt shop). I think the love/hate relationship with the computer and devices is one of the biggest problems we have in our modern lives...

In stitches,
Teresa :o)

Whenever DH is gone I leave the TV off, but the computer...yipes...not sure I could do that one. Last night is was off, does that count. Then I read until 3:30 a.m. I'm hopeless always connected to something.

Unfortunately I can't "unplug" this weekend. I need to get the teacher quilts done and I have to look up some block patterns to to that. I hope all of you that are able to step away enjoy your time.
