Scrappy Wednesday

All of the Hobo  Train Blocks are made and I got a start on putting rows together.

I found this fabric on the shelf and thought it looked like old railroad tracks/ties.  This is the sashing between rows.  I need to find something for the inner border and the outer border will be scrappy Homespun.

It's hot and sticky - been dry for too many days.  I hope it rains later today as it looks like it is brewing - all the plants could use a good soaking.

Sewingly Yours,

Sharon

A very delightful, old-fashioned looking quilt. The train track sashing is perfect. The rain has skirted us for two days. We really need it. It's been over 3 weeks since the last measurable rain. Much colder though, tomorrow and Sat. It would be nice to get a week of stable weather with comfortable temperatures. So much to do in the garden.

I think that fabric will work really well with the homespun trains.
