How I See a Rose

I'd like to thank CAROL for hosting this HOP.  Very simple rules:

What was the challenge?
Your sewn project must have one or more of the following:

Rose/pink fabric
Eyeglasses
Roses
Positive Words

I like to think outside the box on these hops and my Rose Colored Glasses immediately thought of the man, himself, who speaks volumns when looking thru rose colored glasses in the fabric world.

I knew I had some left over Jelly Roll Strips of Kaffee and just had to use them for this project.

And why not go with some hot pink thread to quilt it?  Just some straight line quilting to let those great prints show themselves.

Use a heart print for the backing as this will be a wrap them in love donation quilt.

A bright, fun quilt that will make some child smile.  You have to smile at Kaffe prints!

If you want to make a statement Kaffee fabric will do the trick. No matter what is made with his fabric, it always is a show stopper. This will definitely brighten someone's day!

Kaffe fabrics are always so beautiful and cheery looking. You used them well in this rosy donation quilt. I love how you sewed those strips in a staggered design. Very pretty! Thank you for showing us your rosy side, Sharon!
