When CAROL first announced the 'House' hop, I knew I had to join in as I just love house blocks, quilts, and fun little house items. I've made a lot of houses over my quilty, bloggy years and here are just a few:
Name Tag badge for my local quilt guild - 2010
The Christmas Village - Sulky International Pattern
2011
Block for Beth's annual 'Neighborhood' project.
2012
Cross Stitched Homestead - 2013
Or your house being covered in quilts during the the first "Airing of the Quilts" to promote the new Quilt Barn Trail in Schoharie County - 2014
Scrappy Houses with RSC15
Harvest House - 2016 'Let's Book It' project
Wonky House after a terrible 2017 wind storm
So what does 2018 bring?
Block One from the Moda 'Be My Neighbor' QAL
Sometimes just one block can make a statement
Completely all scraps from the bins, left over binding,
back and hanger is an old FQ, scrap piece of batting, and
quilted with old bobbins to finish up that last bit of thread.

Great variety of house blocks! Thanks for sharing!
A grand show of house blocks and quilts from over the years. I bought fabric for a house quilt and still haven't decided on a pattern. That was when my second husband was still alive and he died five years ago this July. I still love the fabric and don't know exactly what I want to do with the fabric. I'll know when I get back to really piecing. I did buy "Village" pattern which uses 5" squares for the house and flying geese for the roof. I haven't used charms for much so I'm excited to use those and yardage to make a fun quilt. As always, your blog is an inspiration. May you find time to still quilt and center yourself as you take each day as it comes with your new challenges. God Bless You and thanks for participating in the hop and inspiring all of us.
Beautiful quilts
Thanks for sharing your various house projects. All lovely. The RSC15 Scrappy houses really appealed to me so I looked back over your 2015 blog posts and found your tutorial. Now squirrelled away in my Pinterest ideas. Thank you!
