Quilter's Blog Hop Party

Blog Hop Party with Give-Aways

Today begin's the 'Give Thanks' Blog Hop Party over at Quilting Gallery. Michele will have all the links open sometime in the afternoon.   The party runs from November 21st - 26th.  I know there will be something for everyone.

For those of you visiting for the first time, welcome to Vrooman's Quilts.

And yes, I DO live on Quilt Lane . When 911 Emergency went into service, all roads had to be named and we got to submit our request.  Our little family in-house quilt and craft shop is open 7 days a week 10-5.

My give away I hope will inspire a new Spring quilt (personally, I am tired of Christmas fabric).  11 FQs from the Olivia Collection by Anna Griffin.  I will ship international, just be sure I have a way to contact you.  I will leave comments open until midnight November 26th (EST) and announce the winner on the 27th -I will contact winner personally.  You can leave any comment, but I would love to hear "if you could name the street/road you live on - what would you chose?"

This is were I will be for the next 4 days - vending at a local Christmas Juried Craft Show HERE, but will be home in the evenings to respond to any comments.  If you do not hear from me, you are a 'no-reply commentor'.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

I will named it Enchanted Road. I love something mystical :)

that's a really tough question as you really cannot repeat the name of a local street in this process as well as liking the name. I have often thought of Pine Lane, Turkey track drive, Deer Run, can you tell I live in a rural area?

How fun! I would love to live in Magnolia Lane. Thanks for the chance!

Haha what fun. As I live on a farm we don't have a name for the road that leads here. If I lived in a town I would call it "QuiltnPiece Lane! Thanks for a super giveaway.

thanks for the giveaway. My road would be called Blueberry Hill.

If I could name my road anything at all, I would name it Blueberry Lane. Our piece of property has tons of wild blueberries in the summer.

What a welcome sign and on quilt Lane no less, PERFECT! I had a road sign made for our back yard when 911 was reconfiguring our roads and selected and use....EMERSON COURT. ALso while my sister was going through a difficult time she lived with us and claimed it as Donna's retreat. So when she went away for a couple of weeks, I had a sign made and YEP it was Donna's Retreat which she now has in her garden in Annapolis, MD. She laughed and smiled. 8)

The giveaway id fabulous because fabric is needed always. If I could name my street it would be Sanctuary Lane. It fits because I live in the boondocks with all my crafts, dogs, and many cats and 2 birds. This is my relaxation space. Thanks for the giveaway.

I am not very imaginative, so I am not sure what I would name my road. It would have to be something easy to spell, maybe Hope Avenue.

I would love to live on millionaire lane, but uninspiringly I live on Avenue 56....sheesh!

I don't know what I would name it - but I do know I wouldn't use the name it has. Dacotah. Yes, it is spelled "wrong". I never can remember how to spell the state now that I always have to spell my street name. Thanks for the opportunity.

Deb@asimplelifequilts said...

Hmmm... Happy Haven Lane would be an apt name as I'm such a homebody and I've always thought "Lane" sounds inviting and cozy! We have a "Hole in the Day Drive" nearby which makes me smile.

I would love to live on Quilt Lane but would probably pick Cardinal Drive since I really love cardinals.

Of course the fabrics is LOVELY! WOW! I like the spring thinking.
I would name my street ...maybe Phire Place.

I wouldn't mind: Log Cabin Road because it sounds like a mountain road, like where I live here in Italy. I'd have some problems with the translation though!

That is a good question. I never thought about it before. How about Rip It Lane. I sure do enough of it.

Pantograph Place! Hubby just walked in and I told him about this question! He knows I want a longarm so it seems to be a good association. Now he came up with Creative Place! Lol fun question that I could share with him!

Hmmm.....I actually like our street name, Chestnut Hill Rd. But, if I could name it...Sun Dappled lane.

Carmen N said...

Vanity ... I'd name it "Nuland Road". There is one of those already - but in a different county.

As the hubs and I grew up sailing, I'd think windjammer way would be kinda cool. Although I always liked the name of the street I grew up on: Bittersweet Trail...

I think I would like to live on Applewood Lane. We have so many old farm orchards here; it would be nice to acknowledge them.

Our family has a love for birds and we live on Warbler Drive... so I wouldn't change a thing!! Thanks for joining in the hop!

Good Question? I haven't a clue at the moment. I like your Quilt Lane.
Winter is here; it would be fun to quilt with spring fabric and ignore the cold & snow outside. Thank you for a chance to win. Happy Quilting:)

Wouldn't I love to live on Fairy Faire! And I love the fabrics you're giving away. I hope I win! Thanks.

When roads all had to be signed when I was in school the county named our road for my daddy, Reynolds Road. My grandfather's name was used before I was born for Powell Road. I guess I would like Lines Way.

Karrie said...

I don't even know how to answer that! I like the name of the road I live on: Willis Rd

Thanks for the chance to win!!
