Hands 2 Help Link Up
Today is the link up for the Hands 2 Help Charity Quilt Challenge 2013 over at Sarah's Confessions of a Fabric Addict. I committed myself to donating two quilts - one for Happy Chemo and one for Quilts Beyond Borders.
I love playing with scraps and pulled my barrel of 2" squares to make a Postage Stamp quilt. The tradition of these is not only of early recyling, but where usually gifted to a new family into the community. This quilt has been sent and confirmed received by Happy Chemo.
I fell in love with this line - Apple Jacks by Tim & Beck and thought it would make a fun quilt full of color and texture. A great snuggle, full of hugs quilt for a child. This quilt has been sent and confirmed received by Quilts Beyond Borders.
Thank you Sarah for again organizing this Charity Challenge, to all the sponsors, and a huge thank you to all those who have participated.

Both of your comfort quilts are beautiful Sharon. Your quilts will give joy and comfort to someone who needs a little happiness and will put a smile on their faces. I've always loved the postage stamp quilt. I think I am going to have to get out another pizza box and start one...it's a great quilt to use up scraps, and I have a ton, almost!
