A Green Weekend

I got a start on my large blocks for RSC15.  Darker shades of Green is the color for May.  The Woven Heart is my largest block as well as the easiest.

Then the fun 9-patch houses were next.  I know the one reads a little more red, but I liked that fabric.

And the Sawtooth Stars that go with those houses for the larger plan.

Bella was a big help in hiding a secret project in the works and I hope to finish it up over the weekend.  I don't have a lot left to do on it and a quick quilting/embellishing.  That is good as I will be spending all day Saturday with my daughter and the grands - running around for T-ball games and birthday parties.  NaNa gets to be either manning non-players or housesitting those waiting the next trip out.  Boy I remember those taxi days when my three were little.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Great blocks, Sharon. Most excellent picture of Bella in charge.
You are a good grandma. I don't miss those busy days of raising children. Haven't the energy for that constant required running.
Hope you have a nice Mother's Day : )

It's a good thing Bella has a little of her winter weight left or we would have seen the surprise, LOL.

Lots of pretty blocks for the RSC. You got a lot done.

I always marvel at families with two or more children, how they managed to get everyone where they were supposed to go always amazed me. It was hard with just one!
