No - not real pink cats (aren't these cute), but the color for February RSC15 is PINK.
My pink woven heart. Did you get your Valentine's Day Cards yet? I sent my grandies their cards. They were so cute - 4-fold with one side printed and the back side was same design, but blank for coloring.
The Pink Houses. Not sure I would ever want a pink house.
And their Pink Sawtooth Stars.
Where's the cats you ask? Hmmm, maybe.......... look at that bit of orange within that red buffalo blanket.
Moe spies her - Watch out - Bella will get you! They have been playing tag all thru the house with this snow/cold spell.
And yes, I have to vacuum this carpet every day - this has been a week of playing/sorting scraps. If I don't vac those bits and threads up, I think they will breed.
** linking up with RSC15 and Feline Friday **
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

You have some great pinks here. Really like the house blocks!
Your comment about pink houses reminded me of one of the houses DH and I looked at a few years ago. Everything was country pink! Bathtub, toilet, sink, tiles, kitchen counters, cupboards. We didn't end up buying it because we would have had to gut the bathroom to keep from going insane! You've made some wonderful blocks, happy scrapping!
Don't laugh....The house i grew up in was pink! In Florida of course, pink was very common. You gave me a giggle over remembering that.
I love the color pink and like it with the yellow/gold in the heart. All of your blocks look neat.
Great blocks! Pretty in pink.
I like the pink, of course here, pink houses are pretty common, we even have some purple and teal. I'm glad to here the babies are having fun while stuck in the house, our weather turned cool which wakes up the twins, games of tag get them thrown out of the house since it moves the furniture around, I found the coffee table almost in the kitchen after going out to get the mail.
Nice pinks. There was a bright pink house in our neighborhood many years ago. They took no end of grief about the color of their house. When the sold it, the first thing the new owners did was to paint it a neutral tan color. Too bad because when we gave directions, it was a landmark.
Nice pinks. It is one of my favorite colors because green is my absolute favorite color and it goes so well with it. I remember having to vacuum everyday when we had our cat. I miss her, don't miss the hair everywhere.
Very pretty pink blocks. I really like your houses.
I too love all your soft pinks:)
Your pinks are just wonderful. Those houses are so cute in pink.
So many wonderful pinks and blocks! I need to get some Valentine cards off to my Monkey Boys...thanks for the reminder!
Love your pinks! Especially the block! Wow!
Very pretty pink blocks. Your comment about not wanting a pink house made me think there was a song about pink houses. Google didn't let me down, it's "Pink Houses" by John Cougar Mellencamp.
Love the pink houses. Made me start singing the song by John Cougar. "Little pink houses, for you and me." :)
Ha! I just read Kate's comment above. She thought the same thing!
Love your pink blocks and the pink kitties. I have a pink kitchen walls, curtains and counter top. I also made a Underground R R wall hanging with pink in all the blocks.
Great heart and love the pink houses (which are fine in scraps!)
Love your pink blocks. Sounds like Moe and Bella are having a good time this winter.
Love your pink blocks. My husband grew up in Suffolk UK where pink houses are very common. How good they look rather depends on the shade of pink.
Your pink blocks are very pretty, Sharon.
I love all of your blocks. I love the sawtooth stars! And the house blocks are cute. I had to laugh when you said you weren't sure about having a real pink house. There is a pink house at the end of my road :) It has been pink for as long as I have lived here and that has been almost 20 years. I don't know the story of that house, but it would probably be interesting to know. Happy February!!
Love your helper....and all of your blocks, too. The whimsical houses are really cute.
Sharon, I adore the pink houses and the pink sawtooth blocks. Is there a pattern for the pink kitties? Don't you think it would rock on a charity quilt? I do. Make it a center block and then build around it or make blocks of different colored kitties. Each year our guild makes blocks for our outgoing president. We had a mess, if you can imagine that, and the lady who was going to be our new president decided she didn't want to be president, so a former president stepped up to fill the post. She still has the blocks that were made from when she was president before, so she asked that we make special quilts for our charity project - baby/toddler quilts and we'll display them at our November meeting. I think that would be a good candidate for a pattern. You always inspire me with your posts. Thanks for the reminder that I need to get some Valentines in the mail to some grandchildren.
Lots of pretty pink blocks! My Grandparent's house (when they moved off the farm living with us) was PINK!!
Pink houses are surprisingly common here in Florida. They look great in quilts though.
The woven heart block is a perfect block for February. Cute little pink houses.
Lots of lovely PiNKs... xox
I love your house blocks.
