I am so happy that I have been keeping up with this monthly challenge at SewCalGal as the season is fast approaching - less than 10 weeks away. The gift box is filling up and I will be able to enjoy the season and all it's events a little more relaxed knowing a lot of my gifts are done.
This month I made some little wallets using Valeri Wells' pattern, which is on sale right now HERE. These are so fun to make with either planned fabrics or using those scraps from the bucket. Very easy and quick to make that they become potato chips - yup, can't stop at one. I like to tuck some money and either a gas card or coffee card into these.
Please visit SewCalGal to see what others have linked up for their handmade gift giving.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Those little wallets are a great idea, perfect for gift cards. They'd be good for someone who carries business cards too. Thanks.
The little wallets are sweet. I am guessing that a "gas card" and a "coffee card" are gift cards for those products from a particular supplier?
Hi Sharon, wow love these I have made one, should make some more Xmas gifts, you sure have been busy.xx
Love these little card holders and I really like the closures. I tend to use Velcro and I hate the way it looks. What type of snap are you using and are they difficult to use. Can I get them at Joannes or do I need to go on line? Thanks for the info. me
I have that pattern and yes, it's hard to stop with making only one! Great idea to put the gas/gift card in there. I guess I know what I have to begin working on. :)
Very cute, good idea to put a gift card in there. Only 10 weeks, yikes!
I like the fabrics that you're using.
Your little wallets are lovely, Sharon.
