Today begins the Blogger's Quilt Festival hosted by Amy's CreativeSide. Please take plenty of time to view entries, take notes and jot down favs each day - it will help when it comes time to vote. This is our way of enjoying Quilt Market - for those of us who can't go to the real thing.
This mini was one of my projects for my 'Let's Book It' challenge. The book I pulled from the shelf and dusted off was
this lovely - so many pretty mini's and I let that book sit! And a FQ Free Spirit bundle I had sitting on the shelf for too long.
With some help, it came together slowly - lots of starch for all those bias edges. But I am very pleased with the final outcome.

HI Sharon, love the mini-quilt so pretty. Why do cats insist on sleeping in boxes way too small for them? Our cats always did that, but the favourite place was on top of the pile of clean and ironed washing which was waiting to be put away|! Have a great weekend. Susie x
One of my favorites, I love the colors and the fussy cutting for the flower, Beautiful!
Love your fussy cutting too...it's perfect. Be cute anywhere it ends up being hung.

It's just lovely, Sharon. Love the colors.
I love mini quilts. This one is great. All your perfect points! Awesome. Spray starch, our friend.
Sharon, I love this quilt! I think your "Let's Book It" challenge might be just the activity for me as well! I have a lovely quilt book collection, even with weeding out the "beginner" books to pass on, and lately I have been aware of the fact that I have not read many 'cover to cover.'
Having read this I believed it was rather enlightening. I appreciate
you taking the time and effort to put this content together.
I once again find myself personally spending way too much time both reading and commenting.
But so what, it was still worthwhile! Obat aborsi
Lovely - just as I've come to expect from you in the BQF every year... :-)
That's really really pretty Sharon!
Beautifully done! I love the colors in this one.
