Tuesday Archives - Chevrons & Christmas Quilts

Val's Quilting Studio

I've never made a Chevron quilt so looking forward to seeing posts this week.  I have made several Christmas quilts, but I went back to the earliest.

I posted about the finished flimsie of this quilt HERE in 2011.  I posted about the finish HERE in 2012. I know this was a free pattern on the Moda site back then, but couldn't find it.  But I did find it listed HERE with many other lovely Christmas patterns.  Christmas is not that far away to start thinking of those projects and Quilt Market showcased some great new season's fabrics that will hit those LQS's soon.

Be sure to visit Val's Quilting Studio to see what's been linked up.  Better yet, browse your archives and list some of your lovelies.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

  6. It's a fun quilt. That must have been a very popular pattern, I made a version of this same quilt back in 2011.

  11. I had just started quilting when this pattern came out. I think I printed it and had forgotten all about it. I, too, enjoy Christmas quilts. It's so fun to pull out something special for the holidays.
