Scrappy Wednesday

I'm starting to work on the project using the gifted charm pack.  It was a bit of mix of bright colors and I pulled the few charms that were small prints on a white background.  Easy enough to dig thru my FQ totes to find replacements for them that work into this mix.

The white and black are scraps off the shelf and I will dig around for a border.  Maybe I will even raid the left over binding drawer for some colorful pieces to add a scrappy binding to finish this off.

The pattern is Garden Path by Amanda @ Jedi Craft Girl.  It was one of a series of the 'Five Fat Quarter' patterns and you can find them under her pattern/tutorial  page.  Since it cuts those FQs to 5" squares, it was perfect to use those charms instead.

I make it a policy not to discuss politics on my blog, but times are getting very scarey right now.  All I can say is:  please VOTE in November.

Stay Safe and Healthy,
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Pretty quilts. I love sewing with 5” squares. Or 2.5 inch squares. Or 1.5 inch squares. Of... I just love sewing also.

I love all that color, and yes...voting is not optional this time around. I’m optimistic. Change is coming.
