It's going to be another cold, windy, gray, snowy day here in the NorEast - so a good day to stay indoors with some relaxing handwork. I will join KATHY today with some 'needle-pulling-thread' and soup simmering in the crockpot.
My main project will be the binding on the BEAR quilt. Since brown gets a little boring after a bit, I will mix it up.
I managed to get the flower pots stitched yesterday. Today's goal is the stems. If I get to the flowers - bonus.
And at least one more flower finished on the Gail Pan stitchery. The thread spools on this piece I plan to make applique, so I might get those fabric bits prepped , too.
So 2 or 3 brown thread lengths, change to some green, some blue, then back to brown. It may all work out.
Hope you enjoy a slow day,
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Sounds like a perfect, relaxing, stitchy day! What kind of soup? I had a fantastic squash & veg soup at a party yesterday. How's your mom?
That sounds like a lovely day curled up sewing, surrounded with cats and smelling that soup cooking.
We are getting much needed rain!! It will be a day to snuggle inside here too.
What a nice plan for a dreary day!
Looks like the perfect plan for a cold wintery day!
So many lovely projects on the go, as always!
Your bear quilt is almost done?!? Can't wait to see and enjoy the binding!
Thanks for sharing with the Slow Sunday Stitchers!
It's "Slow Stitchin" day but you've already done a lot! Sunny and cold here in The District but no snow.
Cute little stitcheries. We have snow in the forecast here today. Still 38 degrees last time I checked, so we'll see if it pans out. I'd be okay with a little snow.
It looks like the perfect task for a winter day.
Perfect stitching for a cold winter's day. Hope you make lots of progress.
Enjoy those easy going stitching projects!
What a great December day to have stayed in and stitched, and what great projects you have to stitch on!
You took great advantage of the weather yesterday and had some fun projects to work on. What is your favorite thread to use when stitching applique'?
