I spoke with our LQS (local quilt shop)today and over 200 quilts have come in from around the world and another 100 from local quilters. Thank you so much to those who responded to my posts and to Kate's addition of our local needs for Irene flood victims - thank you, thank you, thank you - bless you all.

I've said it before...you do so much! You really give much of your time. Many people could be bitter in your situation...with the accident and all. I was thinking this about you the other day. But, instead of bitterness, you just give and give.

p.s. I've never seen a two color quilt like that and I like it. Of course...it is blue :)

Wonderful quilts, Sharon, and I'm so glad that your area has received quilts from so many. That simple two-color quilt is so striking! What size are the blocks? They are all beautiful, but that one just captures my attention.
