KATHY had this great pic for today's Slow Stitching Sunday and it is so true to what I need. Since we here in the NorEast are in the midst of an Arctic blast of cold, ice, and snow; going slow is about all you can do. With the possibility of 8 inches or more of snow Christmas day, we could be rescheduling as I would rather have family safe.
I've had this lovely kit for a few years. I could have won it one of Michele's give aways, or maybe the sweetie gifted it to me. I don't have a tree or any trimmings put up (kitties) - just my pretty Christmas Cards received - stitching a little berry tree seems appropriate today. Although I chose the topiary style as I am working on some Spring projects - with a shop you have to be several steps ahead.
Of course the furkids have the whole 'slow' process down to a pat right now. Moe is putting on weight now that he doesn't roam as far and wide as he does in good weather. This guy really knows how to nap!
Miss Bella wanted the door open and she would stand on her hing legs to watch out at all the snow like 'are you going to stop now"? So I moved her favorite kitchen chair to the door so she could be more at rest and easily watch the world go by. Hey, my senior asthmatic baby deserves some pampering.
While we're waiting for Christmas, fellow bloggers and friends are celebrating it today - Merry Christmas dear hearts.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Merry Christmas, Sharon!
I hope you have a relaxing time, stitching and keeping an eye on the cats...they are sure to amuse and bring a smile to your face! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas, how fun to have snow for the holiday, but I do hope your family stays safe. I would have moved the chair for sweet Bella too. I am a really soft touch for animals and what they need.
I do hope the snow doesn't interfere with family plans!
Enjoy your slow stitching today!
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
I hope the bad weather fizzles out for you.
We're just dealing with the Arctic blast.
We can learn valuable lessons from cats! Enjoy your down time, that looks like a lovely stitching project.
Slow is my word of the Season too...if it doesn't get done or finished, it's okay! Merry Christmas from my snowy part of the World.
Sharon, enjoy the day, and as for all felines, I hope yours and ours and all others are loved so much. Down here, a glorious sunrise with reds and pinks, it is already the 25th in New Zealand. Lovely stitchery, perfect for a snowy day at home. Our family will all be at their own homes, either working ( the grandies) or having family stay with them.
Merry Christmas to you too, Sharon! It sounds like you will be getting more snow than us here in Utah, although I have not checked the forecast in terms of inches. Happy New Year, too!
Merry Christmas, Sharon. I worried yesterday that the snow would make my daughter's drive frightful, but it held off until just as she was leaving at 9 PM. Light flurries right now, but the deep freeze strikes on Wednesday and will hang around at least a week. So lots of sewing should get done.

Merry Christmas Sharon, we are planning to go to the beach tomorrow to avoid the heat!! Just to opposite for you, hope everyone is safe in the cold weather.
Hope it didn't get too bad and you were able to have your Christmas on schedule.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. I love the sign saying I am going to breathe and go slow. That is what this year turned out to be for me this year, such a blessing.
