I finished the Temecula Marvelous Monday Mini block. It is at an angle shot, but yes, that one HST is off. I can't find my little 3.5" square ruler I use when working tiny blocks - makes cutting and square up so much nicer. So I have a bit of a 'wonk' and I can live with that - my great gran did, so I can too.
I will be working on finishing up step #2 of Kevin's Mystery. I am digging thru those gifted bags of scraps for strips of red. Yes, I could just pull the FQ tote and cut some nice clean, crisp strips - BUT where is the fun in that? I am going looking for treasure. I see some Blues and Yellows that I can use - whoop!!

The wonkyness of that block really gives it a truely traditional feel.
Lovely block, and scrambling through scraps, that is so much fun.
I like the wonky, it adds character and shows it's handmade.
Those little rulers have a way of disappearing. I lost mine for quite a while, and then found it in one of my project boxes. It's come in handy for these blocks.
Ooo! I love the fabrics you used in this block. Are these reproductions of vintage fabrics? Also, I was seriously thinking about doing this Temecula project but didn't. Now I'm wishing I had. Where do I find the info about it?
I'll have to take your word for the wonky, but aren't we all a little wonky?? Cutting up fabrics and sewing them back together...:)
I really really REALLY like your Blue Trip quilt flimsy!
Love that Blue Trip flimsy! Happy stitching this weekend. Looks like you've got lot of pretties to play with.
