July 2015 Let's Book It Winner

I started on some geese for my August Let's Book It project because I wanted to test out my new little machine - and I could do them leader/ender while sorting out paperwork.  The geese are going well.

And then I quickly pieced up a backing for a rather large quilt - the long armer was stopping by late afternoon to pick up some students' quilts and one of my Mom's.  So I added another to the pile with letting it be the last on her list.  Good to have another flimsy moving on to the next stage as well as clearing all that fabric off the shelf.

OK - the winner of the Vintage Sewing Machine Pin and Rose Thimble Charm

Is #4 - Carin @  Ullharvan Blog

I will contact her for mailing information and thank you ladies for participating.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Cairn is a lucky gal! Love seeing flying geese. One of my next projects is a flying geese quilt, but I think the geese are larger. Looking forward to making them though...yours are so cute with those fabrics!

A lot of geese flying around these days. I hope yours behave better than mind did...flying north when they should have been flying south!
