Slow Stitching on Sunday

Slow Sunday Stitching

It's been a while since I joined in with some slow stitching.  I do like to put the pedal to the metal, but I also like to take things slow at times. Maybe your would like to join us over at Kathy's today.

I have some minor housework to complete, but a good mix with some handwork.  I have to complete the binding, tack down of hanging sleeve, and add a label to my Let's Book It project and it will be finished.  It's a small piece, but I plan to stitch slowly while I listen to an audio book

And we are to get a little sunshine today - we've had rain, rain, rain.......
Maybe I will get a little time outside to weed my poor flower beds that have been neglected, too.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Isn't it great to finish a project. Is that a needle book? I have one but need to make a bigger one with some pockets!

Slow Stitch time sounds nice. Hope some pretty sunny days are coming your way this week. We are having some very humid hot days lately.

Welcome back to being able to accomplish some slow stitching on Sunday. i think we all get sidetracked in the summer months and that is okay.

I hope you get your chores finished quickly so you can enjoy your hand stitching! I have been catching up on housework and yard work this week, so not much sewing. I sure like the little bag or pouch in your photo. Is it a needle book?

A finish on it's way for you.

I did make my binding today. I need to learn to add though. Think I made twice as much as I needed. Better too much..:))

Love your little scissors! Finishing a binding is the best feeling.

A finish is near which is always a good feeling! I'm looking forward to seeing the front.

I joined in today too for a while! I love listening to books while I stitch - what were you listening to today? I'm listening to Water for Elephants right now.
