Slow Stitching Sunday - 3/23/2014
I need a day to slow down, so I will be joining Kathy's Quilts with some 'down time' in that chair.
This is my 'Let's Book It' project. All those tiny flowers are done and now need to be hand stitched to the background. The pattern had you stitch each flower to a 4" square and then sew all those together to make your center. I thought it would be easier to use one whole background piece.
Now to pull up that chair and slow down,
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

That's going to be really nice, Sharon! How big is it in total?
Very pretty hexie garden. Enjoy your day of slow stitching.
A perfect way to spend some time in March... stitching your own pretty garden! Enjoy!
Enjoy your lovely garden there! :)
That's really pretty, I hope you do slow down and enjoy the day.
What a wonderful view for the afternoon. Love the background choice for those lovely flowers.
Your hexie flower garden is lovely Sharon.
Your hexies are looking so sweet!
I love hexies ... and your project is gorgeous. What size hexies did you use?
... "you stitch each flower to a 4 inch square" ... whaaaaaat?? How big are those flowers?? or should I say how small!! Looks like a lot of patience and very good eyes are needed to do this. Beautiful work Sharon, very beautiful!
I want to do a Josephs Coat baby quilt by adding the applique to the whole background. I think it is a great idea!
lovely flowers Sharon,have fun.xx
Very pretty flowers.
Love..falling for hexes all over again, love the layou!
Your small hexies show up nicely on the black fabric. Very nice!
I love the way your garden is growing...so sweet.
Tiny flowers--so cute!
So pretty! Good idea to just use one background rather than each individual square. I'm halfway through my T wall hanging. Should be done for a link up. Thanks for the push to pull out a book and make something from it.
Giggle.....I struggle getting to the borders.
