Forest QAL Finish

I took part in Shape-Moth 's forest quilt along over the summer.  I had to adjust some of the pieces to make it a more North American look in contrast to the European cousins. I did a variety of quilting (home machine), thread painting, used many color threads (back is strictly a beige thread), buried lots of knots and threads, and finally found a home for the outdoors fabric used in the final border.  I am totally in love with the outcome.

I will be linking up with the other finished projects from this QAL over HERE.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Oh Sharon!!! What a treasure! That quilt is a piece of art girlfriend! I love all the little details, and that raccoon has totally won my heart :*D You've done a magnificent job of choosing the right fabrics for each block (those feathers look REAL!) and then quilting just enough to pop each one perfectly. Great job and congrats on a special finish!!!
