Christmas QAL-Challenge Update
Just to show my progress for the day. I actually managed to get half of the little blue tree chopped and re-stitched. Thought it best to end there to protect all fingers.
I found these Nancy Halvorsen 'cut-outs' and my plans to play with a table runner plans changed from the original.
Paired up with some Nancy Halvorsen 'Tidings' (ivy and roses) and another Benartex 'Noel' by Susan WInget (greens and reds - and the backing) - it is sandwiched up for quilting tomorrow.
There were a few odd NH pieces as well as her 'Love Is' - not sure yet how I will play with these - maybe by tomorrow I will have a plan.
I had a few interuptions during the day - chores, errands, family business, and trying several times to get my photos for the Pets on Quilts post (FUN). I will be playing again tomorrow.
Sewingly YOurs,
Sharon

i love Nancy's fabric, have a fun weekend Sharon and congrats on your win over at Christine's.xx
Very pretty, I love Nancy's fabrics too. Looks like you are getting a good start on the Holidays.
That twister project looks pretty. I can see how small the squares are. The NH fabrics seem so joyful and also pretty. Nice projects.
Love your blue twisters....:D
Nice to see your progress. There is quite a difference in size of the finished twister...didn't realize this. Your pictures show it so well.
I love your NH blocks, they'll make a great runner and I know your tree is going to look wonderful.
