Monday Making

I took some of the yardage from the 'magic' tub and have several pillowcases prepped.  Since these were donated fabrics , they are going back out as donations with our guild's collection of pillowcases to the Community Christmas Boxes.  There are a couple more large pieces to use, but I have to search for the 'cuff' pieces on my shelves.  There is enough here to keep me busy today.

And I am going to have to search for that special little piece of fabric for the temperature quilt to mark the 'first' snow of the season.  We've had bits of flurries with no real accummilation.  This one is taking it's time collecting and I guess is to fall lightly over the next couple of days.  A White Thanksgiving for us.

Snow, it always is magic for me. And donations that come in one form and leave as another, that is magic too, they will be so welcome. Lovely assortment of colours for them as well.

You always have plenty to keep your hands busy during the nasty weather days.

Snow! I'm not ready yet, but it will come whether I'm ready or not, right? Thanks for linking with Design Wall Monday, I appreciate you, Judy

We had a light snow here as well. It was very welcome, we needed the moisture. I love a good snow day. All the cares and demands outside of house are swept away with the storm.

Good for you to kit those pillowcases with no delays! You'll sew them up lickety split. We did get some snow yesterday and overnight but not as much as you - and ours is gone already . Booo! They keep threatening a big storm this week but I haven't seen any inkling in my weather app so I don't know what to expect. Enjoy your white Thanksgiving!

Have fun with your pillow case stitching today. Snow is so pretty, hopefully there is not enough to prevent people from getting around on Thanksgiving Day. Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving.

It looks so pretty in the snow. I feel lucky to be able to picture your whole place in my minds eye now.
