Of Temps & Friends

I have my nose to the grind stone to finish a commission before I am tightly booked with travel events.  BUT I do manage to check the noon temperature for each day so I can keep the rosettes on track.  We had a bit of variety for this week.

86 - 70 - 68 - 62 - 52 - 64 - 63

And I simply did not take a single picture the whole time that I had special visitors.  This journey was all about Barbara and Mike and she is entitled to the big picture of things.  I did pop out the morning they were to leave and get a picture of their big rig as it sat next to the old barn.  I'm, also, happy that our temperatures got warmer when they rolled thru.

I am very honored that they had included me and our little town as part of their adventure(s).  If you don't follow Barb, you should.  She writes with such brightness and delight - and her photography is super.  I am enjoying traveling with them via her blog.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

I knew you would have a delightful time with Barbara and Mike, as we did. It was a great beginning to our week of visitors!

Schoharie? It seems like I've seen that name when we've been visiting our son in Fonda, New York. Am I right? If so, maybe you could point me to some quilt shops, etc I should find when visiting there. We'll be in Fonda for a few days the 14th and 15th and then we head to Florida.

I enjoyed the read about their visit, so glad you had a great visit. Love the sight of you and Mom with the hundreds of quilts. A true treat. don't push too hard with all your commitments.

We enjoyed our carrot cupcakes with our lobster dinner here in Maine last night. Thank you for such a nice visit, Sharon. Loved meeting you and your mom in person, although you both feel like old friends of many years.

You can tell the seasons are changing when you get such varied temperatures in one week.

I'm so glad you all got to meet -- she did do a great write-up of her adventures through your town. I'm hoping she may make it down this way, too!! :)
