This week's theme is Jelly Roll Quilts over at Val's Quilt Studio. As I browsed thru my old posts, I found I did a LOT of jelly roll quilts in 2012. There was a JR Challenge on-line, fabric companies were pushing JRs, and it was something new to me - which to chose?
I finally picked this fun, colorful quilt. This was on this original POST. This was a quick and easy pattern from the Moda Bake Shop - 'Awesome Lap Quilt - perfect for brights and juvenile prints.
Go visit Val and see what other's link up - you might just find something new to you,
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Hi Sharon it is a happy bright quilt, love it.xx
That's a lovely quilt Sharon. Good choice to showcase.
What a lovely quilt. I can see how I could use up some scraps by improvising on that idea. Thanks for sharing. (Still no sewing, I'm just plodding onwards with the scrap sorting!)
A lovely quilt.; I especially like the combination of blocks and strips. I bet it went together in a flash.
That IS an awesome lap quilt!! I've never worked with a jelly roll.
That's a bright and pretty quilt, I love the layout! The only jelly roll quilts I've made have been in the jelly roll races, where we cut fabric from stash. This gives me an idea about using some of the strips I've already cut.
Very pretty. So bright and cheerful.
Oh this is awesome , bright and cheerful ! I have never used a jellyroll but this looks like it is worth trying one :-)
I remember this sweet quilt. You made several lovey jelly roll quilts! I love your blog. Your posts keep me motivated and inspired.
That is a great jelly roll quilt. I love the design of it.
What a lovely, bright quilt.
The quilt is really nice. I like that there are strips and boxes as part of each row rather than all the same unit in the entire quilt.
Definitely bright and fun!
Thanks for this pattern reference as my daughter is starting to quilt and this would be an easy pattern for her to do. It was the perfect addition to our Jelly Roll theme this week!! Thanks for sharing!!!
