I have been happy to support Lynne each month. I never need an excuse to start something new, but I do need to work on cleaning up those something old projects.
My Something Old will be to get my lozenges blocks into a flimsy - they have sat too long.
My Something New will be Jacquelynn's new QAL. I plan to make a 4-block quilt and then use the two other blocks for pillows.
And another good excuse to start something new, although the project I chose is sadly something that has sat around for a long time, ignored.
I either won this or was gifted it in a swap - see, so long ago I can't remember. But November and December are my months to slow down. This will be a good project to work on for Slow Sunday Stitching and even to unwind at night.
And I better have something for this - again, something small, something me.
Another pattern that has sat too long. This should work up entirely out of that never ending scrap basket. Even use up some scrap batt and scrap binding - gotta love that.
I will take part in the Make it Handmade Christmas Challenge again with a few small projects, as well as the Simple Small Project - they will be nice little gifts to have on hand for those 'unexpected' holiday show-ups.
I hope to get my Charming Stars into a flimsy and still taking part in the Country Corners sew along.
And we should be wrapping up the row quilt this month. I think I will send this to my longarmer for a quick edge to edge so I have a new Christmas quilt for the season.
Speaking of quilting, I have that large tote of 'to-be quilted' pile. So I hope to tackle some of these either quilted by myself or to send off to a longarmer, but I'm not stressing over them as it will make for good play during those snowed in days.

A short list for me I know. I just want to unwind going into the end of the year. Hope to get some baby (and grandson) snuggle time before the snow falls - because I hibernate.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

The end of the year is a good time to slow down and enjoy the season - smart Sharon! Love your Lozenges - that is going to be so pretty! So many fun projects on your list. I love the Harvest Home quilt - it should prove quick and easy for you :)
Slowing down for November and December is a good idea. Enjoy finishing up some projects. I printed off the Sew Sweet Simpplicity Block and will work on that as a reward for finishing one of my goals.
There is so much going on in November and December that taking it slow is a great idea. But your slow is my busy! Enjoy your sewing.
I decided to do the Sew Sweet as well. I know, I know I shouldn't start anything new, but it really is a cute quilt.
You'll be keeping yourself busy, Sharon.
love seeing your projects. I could never keep up with you so I live vicariously thorough you! LOL love the lozenges. gotta work on mine too. and your row quilt is going to be so gorgeous.
Gracious! That is a lot of projects, but I admire your dedication. I'll be lucky to get a few table runners finished, the QOV quilted that is almost done now, and maybe cut out the 100 flowers I want to applique on a basket quilt. Typing that all out looks like a lot too!! Carole @ From My Carolina Home
It's a good time to try to slow down as the holidays try to make us speed up. I really like that Harvest Home pattern, very peaceful.
Short list?? Hardly! You've lined up quite a lot. Keep warm!
That's quite a list! Love the button tree!
Good luck with all your goals. I'm looking forward to seeing how the lozenge quilt turns out. Thanks again for supporting me through a crazy year!
Looks like a fun list. Slowing down for the end of the year makes sense, the Holidays make for enough busy stuff.
