Trifle Dish Row Quilt

Final Link-Up July 7th

Today is the link up for the Trifle Dish Sew-Along row quilt.  This was some real extensive stitching to complete as there was just a couple of days inbetween the release of the next row/block.  Then throw in a scrappy final border and my machine was at full tilt.

I changed some of the row placements and I made the final border so there was a scrap of a lite that I used in the rows facing into the center. I'm proud to say that approximately 6 yrds of fabric were strictly from the scrap bin.  Unfinished size is 80.5" x 99.5" - this is too large for my home machine, so it will be going to my long armer for quilting.

Please be sure to visit the Moda Bake Shop for the quilt parade (July 7) and the full pdf of the pattern.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Great job. I am amazed that you were able to keep up with that tight schedule. I'd love to see a picture of how your long armer quilts this one up. Thanks for sharing.

Turned out lovely. I can't even keep caught up with a QAL that has the hints posted once a week that one would have been crazy for me. But I did save off the patterns.

Wow! Your quilt top turned out great. Love how you used the light fabric in your border to help with the transition from the rows. It's a great touch.

Gorgeous, Sharon - but that's not surprising! I particularly like the scrappy border and how it merges into the body of the quilt!

It is wonderful! I wouldn't try that on my DSM either. What a cheerful piece and I know it was a fun project. The scrap bins never empty but it is the most fun to be digging in them.
