Green Eggs & Ham

Well, not eggs or ham - but it is the color green for the month.  Boy I wish our area would green up!  So I pulled ONE baggy of green scraps - oh I have lots of green!  But let's try to use this baggy up first.

I pulled the spring greens for my Sprouts blocks with a dark stem.  And keeping with the oddities in my past sprouts - notice the shoes?  I just had to do it.

I will be linking up with SoScrappy-Rainbow Saturday

And since some have asked - the first four blocks of the Forest QAL - there's lots of green there!  The Blue Jay Feathers, Birch Grove, Fox with Leaf, and the Pilated Woodpecker.

And lots of secret sewing went on thru the week.  All my swaps and special monthly projects are done and packaged (or put into a draft post for their big DAY) and ready to hit the post office in the morning.  My sneak peek of my little doll/quilt (that's the back of the quilt) heading for her new home.

I will be back on Sunday (7th) with the Hands2Help update and link to one of my favorite quick quilt patterns to maybe help someone out and join in with us.  Maybe even a recipe - haven't had one of those in a while.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Green is my favorite color. I think it may start getting green next week around here. Spring sure is taking its sweet time.
Love that fox block.

I like what you've done, especially the forest creatures. The blocks are lovely and I'm a fan of paper piecing, but right now I just can't wrap my mind around all those little pieces :o(
