I was the lucky random receipent/winner of Johna'lee's 'ButterCream Summer' quilt pattern as part of her Rancher's Daughter block along. This will be my 2014 long term project. Thank you so much for such a generous and gorgeous gift.
And I have to thank my dear blogging friend Pauline who paid forward a lovely package - covered buttons and some fabric samples - and just the most beautiful card. She is, also, a very prolific painter and becoming quite the fiber artist too. I am very fortunate to have one of her small watercolors from a swap long ago.
I had thanked Quilty Pleasures and The Elven Garden some time ago when I won gift certificates to FatQuarterShop - I only just finally used them - I know! I needed more of the Chateau Rouge for my Rancher's Daughter blocks so picked up a layer cake. And two fun and bright FQ bundles - Marmalade Cottage by Robin Betterley for Wilmington Prints and School Days by Melissa Babcock Saylor for Quilting Treasures.
This is the panel with the Marmalade Cottage bundle - how cute is that? They may be my August & September NewFO projects.
And I had a gift certificate to Connecting Threads (family) so treated myself to these three books. My Mom has claimed the Country Quilts (NOT), but this is so her style.
AND WHAT YOU ARE ALL WAITING FOR:
And the SewMaMaSew Give Away Hop is coming in May - button on the side bar.
And May For Me is around the corner - it will be little lower key than last year as all of us have had family issues to deal with, but we will be hosting events, specials, and give aways thru the month. More info to come.
