Thanks for that, Sharon. I'm seeing lots of memorial quilts. This morning I saw one that had something like 16,000 blocks contributed by different quilters.
A tribute that stands by itself in a memory that means we will always remember. What a lot of research, planning and the final touches in that beautiful layout

I was signed up to take my beginning quilting class the week after 9/11. I didn't know about that quilt.
