Local Quilt Show

The New York Power Authority at the Gilboa, NY center is hosting it's annual quilt show June 6-7 (10am-5pm).  Quilts on display in the Lansing Manor are from local contributors (yes - mom, my SIL and I sent off items).

This year the Jefferson Historical Society is joining with the New York Power Authority’s Lansing Manor Annual Quilt Show on Saturday, June 6, 2015. Speakers Rabbit Goody and Dr. Jacquie Atkins will give presentations and appraise textiles brought in by the public. There will be fiber and textile artisans selling and demonstrating their crafts.

What a great way to show off quilts in a historical setting.

What fun! Wish I didn't have company coming so I could drive over to see it. It's been years since I took some of Rabbit Goody's classes at the Farmers Museum in Cooperstown.

What a beautiful venue for a show. I'd love to see your quilts (and Mom's and SIL's) hanging.
