FMQ Challenge

SewCalGal's September FMQ Challenge was a motif from Paula Reid.  Since I had my grandchildren coming for apple picking, I thought I would tackle this project and then have a quick pick up.  I traced the motif onto my muslin, then sandwiched up.

Since my other machine is in for repair, I relied on my 'little' machine and off we go.  I did have trouble seeing where I was going on 'trace-overs' and back tracking as the foot on this machine is blinding - like blind spots on a car.

For all the 'where the heck am I' - not too bad on this stand-in machine.  I'm sure old faithful would have done a nicer job and I was really comfortable working the motif.  I may just use this on a project that is waiting on 'that chair'!!

I am enjoying these challenges and thank the different designers/quilters  for this wonderful program.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Your 'little' machine did a marvelous job...guess it is the quilter, not the machine, that sews so well...giggle!

super job....small machine and all.

Very impressive. When you are as skilled as you are, the machine doesn't matter as much.

It looks to me like your little machine did a marvelous job and of course the operator deserves a lot of that credit too ;-)

Wow, impressive, especially since it was done on your "stand by" machine!
