FMQ Challenge
SewCalGal's September FMQ Challenge was a motif from Paula Reid. Since I had my grandchildren coming for apple picking, I thought I would tackle this project and then have a quick pick up. I traced the motif onto my muslin, then sandwiched up.
Since my other machine is in for repair, I relied on my 'little' machine and off we go. I did have trouble seeing where I was going on 'trace-overs' and back tracking as the foot on this machine is blinding - like blind spots on a car.
For all the 'where the heck am I' - not too bad on this stand-in machine. I'm sure old faithful would have done a nicer job and I was really comfortable working the motif. I may just use this on a project that is waiting on 'that chair'!!
I am enjoying these challenges and thank the different designers/quilters for this wonderful program.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Looks wonderful Sharon. I haven't even thought about it yet.
well done Sharon, this is one of my goals to do FMQ.xx
Your 'little' machine did a marvelous job...guess it is the quilter, not the machine, that sews so well...giggle!
I think it looks great Sharon, little machine or not.
Oh that looks wonderful!!
This really looks great!
It's nice when you're comfortable working with something. Your stitching looks terrific!! :)
Wow! That looks fantastic! You are inspiring me to try some more!
super job....small machine and all.
Very impressive. When you are as skilled as you are, the machine doesn't matter as much.
great job. I hope to post mine this week.
It looks to me like your little machine did a marvelous job and of course the operator deserves a lot of that credit too ;-)
It is hard to see sometimes when you are going backwards, but your work looks great!
Looks amazing!
The quilting looks GREAT to me! Well done little machine...lol :)
It looks wonderful. I can't wait to try mine.
Beautiful work Sharon!! Funny, I just traced mine on to fabric today and plan on working on it.
Looks wonderful Sharon! I think you have found the flow for sure!

Great job for a back up machine!
Wow, impressive, especially since it was done on your "stand by" machine!
It looks great - funny how we get used to certain machines - your back up goes well!
