A Little Bit of Christmas

My SIL and I took part of the day (a cold, rainy day) to do a little Christmas and grocery shopping.  We picked up something pretty for our hairdresser (we had it gift wrapped at the shop so no photos until we gift it) and I found these cute Woodland Critters ornaments for my grandkids.  A few other items were pick up, too and I had them gift wrapped - because I am so bad at it and it's one more thing done.

Then I spent the afternoon working on my grandaughter's little selfie bag using this PATTERN HERE.  Some asked why I called it a selfie bag - because I made each grandchild a bag that looked like them so they know their bag by sight.

And the back - those cute penquins.  She has a purple penquin stuffy that she adores, but I only had this in blue - close.

Here's the three together - yes I keep them and use each year.  I have all the little goodies that will be stuffed in them.  Once I get the house cleaned/decorated they will get filled and set up, waiting.

  10. The bags are adorable for collecting gifts for each grand! This year I found Captain America and Hulk tin banks for me to fill with the small gifts for my nephews. I never thought of making reusable bags...
