VroomansQuilts - you are here
'Black Cat Crossing' by Maywood Studios was the fabric line to inspire us and as great as this fabric is, my year has been using up stash on the shelf. I went another route with a fabric that just screams Halloween and black cats to me.
I just love Sebastian the Cat and all the ghoulish characters in Alexander Henry's 'Ghastlie' line and 3 years of fabrics on the shelf and the new line 'The Last of the Ghastlies' - well, I just had to use this. A farewell of sorts to a spook-tacular line of fabric.
The family album, Sebastian, webs, tombstones, family crypt, the demise of a cast of characters all together for the back (yes, back) of my final Ghastlie quilt.
I wanted to make this quilt from 'Pick Four' by Sue Abrey - a book that has been on my shelf for some time.
It gave the purrfect twist to this fun and twisted fabric.
I wanted to use up all my scraps - this is the end of the Ghastlies after all.
A zip pouch for a bit of fun to go with the divided basket - pattern by Noodlehead.
I had a few strings of Spooky fun left and pulled out my zip baggy of black strings to play with them.
A black cat walking a crooked stile and log - a fun mini to hang for the Holiday. And we say farewell to the Ghastlies.
And since they are all gone, I had to find something else for a give away....
A jelly roll of Moonlight Manor by Deb Strain for Moda. I will ship international and comments will be open until Oct 31st,10pm(EST) - you can get a head start on next year's Halloween project.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

And they all lived together in a little crooked house.
