OMG - January

To help me with the goal of making my PIGS fly, I've decided to join
in the OMG.  Having to post up my goal each month will give me the push to actually complete it.  I find a lot of my pieces are sitting because they need borders.  I hate borders - can do them, but hate them.

For January I am chosing my temperature quilt.  It was started Summer Solstice 2017 and completed Summer Solstice 2018.  I need to print off the label that will go in the upper corner and the temperature chart I used will go in the lower corner.  Then I need to add the border.

The quilt looks so lovely, and a border will frame the squares so well. Plain fabric, multi coloured, or something flowery?

Isnt it funny how we all have something we avoid. For some its binding, others applique. Mine is paper piecing. Love the precision and look but hate doing it. Your temp quilt is pretty.

Good luck with the borders, they look amazing.

This looks great. I really like your layout and plan for the label. A simple border will be fine.

This is going to be one fantastic finish. I love the hexies.

Oh, I’m excited to see that one finished. I swore off the OMG for a while, but I’ve been back at it for a couple of years. It’s good to set just one goal for the month, I think. Gives me something to shoot for, and the rest is gravy.

It's a beautiful finish. Hexie's a so pretty, but I haven't finished one I started over 35 years ago yet. LOL!!
