Slow Sunday Stitching

We've had the most cold, windy, rainy weather the last few days.  It makes some of us just want to curl up and nap.  Yes, I pushed her over a few times and napped myself.

All the energy I could muster Saturday was some light housework and getting caught up on the Circa 2016 blocks.

So today I will slow down a little more and join Kathy and others.  I have some laundry to tackle, but I am just going to put on an old movie and stitch the day away with these flowers.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

  1. Sew...did you decide you prefer to baste all the hexies first and then sew them together or baste as you stitch around the rosette? Enjoy your day!

Yesterday was the third scorching Saturday in a row and now we are back to cool and breezy for the week ending with another scorcher Saturday. Hope it's not like this all summer!

  6. I did the same thing on Friday... got caught up with Circa blocks and am hand stitching today. Those little baskets were fun to sew, eh?

  11. So much of the country is under such a heat wave. Guess we are both the exception.

    Enjoy your slow stitching.

  12. I could do with some cold, wet weather. Highs today are forecast to be 98F. Glad you got a chance to catch your breath last weekend. Those slow weekends are great for recharging your batteries.
