I'll be joining Kathy today for some handwork - turning off that machine and slowing down.
I have the stem to stitch down on the Sweet Gum Leaf block for the 'Westering Women' BOM. There was a lot of discussion on the templates not printing out correctly and size of finished blocks too small, so I went with this one on Quilter's Cache. No headaches and it came out perfect.
And then there are those circles. Those 6 will put me a couple of days ahead of schedule, but I like to work 6 at a time. My row that can be sewn together and then attached to the section - set 6 by 6. This project really excites me and I already know how I want to quilt it.
A reminder - today is the first of several guest bloggers with tutorials and tips, so please go visit HERE.
