Oh, Scrap 12/13/15

Have you been following Temecula Co.'s Mini Christmas QAL?  Since I was using just two fabrics from a zip baggy I pulled from a donated bigger baggy, I had to change up some of the blocks - and I made them 3.5" unfinished, too.

There is a little of that cute prim Santa that was tucked in with this - so has to be used!   And a dark green 'crackle' I'll use for sashing.  As you can see in the photo, I have just a smidge of the two base fabrics left - cut it close for sure, but it is used up and on into what will be a cute project for the season.

Go see what others are doing with their scraps HERE.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Good use of leftovers. It's going to be a cute quilt.

I've been watching the little blocks, but haven't made any. I like yours a lot - can't wait to see how you combine them with the Santa bits!

Love your blocks, Sharon! I have made these blocks, too, but in a more colorful variation.

They are soooo cute. I followed each post and plan to make them after Christmas rush. I'm think of 3.5" blocks, too. Probably a doll quilt : )

Love yours in just 2 colors. Nice idea to make them bigger. Got home on Friday and played catch up yesterday, I made them small with 5 different scraps. Haven't figured out what I want to do with them yet.
