Stealing Stitches

This quilt finally got it's binding done - stealing time to finish that hand stitching.  It was a NewFO project (which month?) and is Connie's Cross Roads block pattern.  I set it together differently (wrong) so got a new look.  The white has an embossed white dragonfly and the prints are from the 'Enchanted Pond' line so I had my longarmer do a panto dragonfly, loop, leaf pattern.

Stitch time stolen to blanket stitch my Dresden Block for the 2013 QAL.  There's that white dragonfly fabric again.  I have just enough to finish this quilt.  Maybe enough scraps to use with the Birds & Berries scraps left to make a pillow to go with the quilt.

And I had permission to show the pink cadillac commission.  I had plenty of fabric so made a pillow (back is the black dot) and little zip purse.

I used this pattern from About.Com to make this walker bag.  The top straps button over the middle bar and those side straps with D-rings are for attaching to the front side bars so the bag doesn't swing.  Large center pocket with the black dot fabric smaller front pockets.

I know, it looks the same, but this is the back - made three smaller outer pockets on this side.  And if you recognized the black dot fabric - yes, it is the left overs from the backing of my Ghastlie quilt you saw during the Wicked Hop.  It's just waiting to be picked up and taken to it's new owner.  Now that sweet little great auntie truly has a special 'cadillac' (that's what she calls her walker).

Hope you have been able to steal some stitches.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

That Walker bag is the cutest thing I've seen in a long time. She'll be speeding along in no time with that.

The pink cadi fabric is a smile maker. I don't know if I could drive a car that big, but the fabric is fun. You made cool items with it.
