It all started with this pattern by Lynn of Sew'n Wild Oaks who so graciously shared all her talents, tips, and hints along the way. And the was our ever gracious host and cheerleader, Lesley - The Cuddle Quilter who each month let us post our 'at your pace' venture with this lovely quilt.
My version of Country Charmer - out on a bed for the first time. The sweet talents of Valerie - The Pumpkin Patch Quilter frosted my quilt so lovingly.
As a scrap quilter who has no problem putting all those odds, ends, and uglies together - I did stress over this one. I finally left scrap/color selection to my SIL - one block at a time and finally it all came together.
Yes, had to add this, kitties are not allowed in this room, or on this bed, or on this quilt. I had to chase her so many times so I could get a few photos. Bella, you got a once in a lifetime!
Be sure to visit Lesley and see all the Country Charmers that have linked up.
Oh, and this is my 600th post - great post to hit the milestone. I will have to see what I can give away in December because I also went over 200,000 views (a couple weeks ago).
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

It is beautiful, Sharon. Well done!
Congratulations on the milestones too.
Happy 600th post! Keep on writing!
Your Country Charmer is beautiful! There is something about this quilt and cats Ms Cha Cha like Bella had to be "helped" to stay off.
Quite beautiful - lovely colour scheme.
It's not just the felines who think this quilt is wonderful, my Daisy Dog plonked herself right in the centre of mine!
200,000 visitors - goodness, that's an achievement :}
Congrats on a beautiful CC finish. Your quilt is stunning!
Oh Sharon your quilt is gorgeous and lovely quilting too
I love how your scrappy quilt turned out. It is lovely.
This is just beautiful! Kitty is cute too LOL
Beautiful
Ahh...a beautiful warm quilt for a lovely old bed. Scrappy quilts always surprise me...those What Was I Thinking prints find the perfect home in them and make you look just so darn smart! Scrappy quilts are the ones that invite you in and beg to be wrapped around you...like cuddling with a warm furkid...its no wonder kitties can't resist them!
That's really pretty - I like it! Lots 'n lots!
It's beautiful. It really is a lovely accomplishment. Little Bella's a hot sketch.

That is really beautiful Sharon. I know you struggled with choosing the fabrics, but between you and your SIL it looks like you made all the right choices.
Oh I love seeing this spread out with kitty enjoying it...I hadn't seen it bound yet. Beautiful!! Thank you for giving me the honor of quilting it for you! :)
It's so funny that you have rules for where the kitties can go, I thought they made the rules and you followed them, LOL.
What an accomplishment, 600 posts and a beautiful quilt! Good on you!

Thanks for rejuvenating a post from FIVE years ago!! Just looking through the comments makes me miss some old friends that aren't blogging anymore.
This is so pretty. Your quilting talent leaves me in the dust, but it gives me something to inspire to and that is a very good thing.
Happy Quilting!
Connie :)
