Well folks, did you find some May for Me time? Even if only 5 minutes a day? Friday I spent most of the day babysitting the grandies while my daughter attended a training class for work. Saturday was a gorgeous day, so a lot of breaks from my Doll Quilt Swap project with mini walks and some flower gardening. Sunday was my un-plugged day - some guests for part of the day, gardening, and a bit of hand work.
You've seen that tub of scraps several times - well this is what is left. I dumped it onto the table to deal with it. My tip - and I learned this the hard way - deal with those left over pieces after EACH project. Don't bag them, box them, drop them in a drawer! I now put away the yardage, FQ size and/or cut down into useable size - NO more stock piling!
My May For Me give away is your choice - I did this once before and thought it fun. The winner will get their choice from these 'double the charm' Charm Packs (I will ship international - must be a follower)
Duck Duck Goose - flannels
Avalon/Happy Go Lucky (they only had one Avalon,so sent the Happy with it)
The Morris Apprentice
Collection for a Cause - 1835 prints
PB & J
Please be sure I have a way to contact you - comments will be open until the following Sunday (10pm est) with winner announced with the new May For Me Monday. Let's see - tell me what your favorite May flower is - Good Luck.
